Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) - To be applied in person
(Time Required  :  Two weeks to one month depending on the time taken by concerned police authorities in India to convey their response.

Requirements:-

·Applicants are required to fill online application form at https://portal5.passportindia.gov.in and carry a printout of the filled in application form.

·Original Passport (including subsequent additional booklets if any) - Passport will be retained during the tenure of the service.

·Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.

·Photocopy of valid Iqama (Original to be produced for verification).

·One recent passport size photograph (to be affixed on the form).

·Letter from Consulate which has asked for Police Clearance Certificate.

As per the latest instruction of the Ministry, PCC will be issued only after receipt of CLEAR police report on reverification.

 

Personal presence of the applicant at the Application Centre is a must.

Non-Resident Indian (NRI) Certificate

((Time Required : TWO Working Days)

Requirements:-

A duly filled in application in prescribed proforma, along with two colour photos of the applicant. Application in the Miscellaneous Services Form (Form 2.pdf)

  1. Original Indian passport and photocopy of pages of the Indian passport with visas/arrival/departure immigration stamps.  And also Travel History for NRI Certificate.Original and a copy of valid Iqama (with English translated copy) in respect of Indian passport holders.
  2. Copy of Proof of Address in the country of residence including, inter alia, Driving License, Photo Identity issued by the local government, Utility Bills, etc.
  3. A letter detailing the purpose of requirement for the NRI Certificate

 

Eligibility:-

  1. The applicant must be an Indian national with a valid Indian passport.

 

(ii)       The applicant must have completed a period of stay of more than

            182 days in the previous financial year (April to March) in the   

            country of residence of the applicant.

 

Please Note :-

1. Consulate may conduct verification of antecedents, wherever deemed necessary. NRI certificate will be issued, once the issuing authority is satisfied of the genuineness of the application.

2. For admission of students under NRI quota, it is clarified that the following categories of guardians who are not “bonafide guardians” will be excluded from the eligibility criteria for admission of students under NRI Quota:-

(a) First degree relation of the student, including real brother and sister over and above the mother-father of the first degree relation, is NRI and residing abroad ordinarily; or

(b) Nearest relation who considers such student as Ward, including, real brother and sister of father i.e. real uncle and aunt; real brother and sister of mother i.e. real maternal uncle and maternal aunt; father and mother of father i.e. grandfather and grandmother; father and mother of mother i.e. maternal grandfather and maternal grandmother and first degree maternal and paternal cousins.

03.

Duplicate Birth Certificate
(Time Required : TWO Working Days)

Requirements for issue of Duplicate Birth Certificate:

·Application in the Miscellaneous Services Form (Form 2.pdf)

·Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.

·Copy of birth certificate issued.  In case, copy of the Birth Certificate is not available, please provide original registration number along with date of registration.  If this is also not available, a copy of the first passport issued to the applicant/name endorsed on mother's passport. 

·One recent passport size photograph (to be affixed on the form).

[Note:

(i) Only those Indian Nationals born in Saudi Arabia and whose birth was registered with the Consulate, shall be issued duplicate Birth Certificate.  In other cases, the applicant may request for a certificate based on the entries on the passport.

(ii) In case the applicant is not a resident in KSA, he/she may authorise a relative/friend to submit the original application on their behalf.]

·Application in the Miscellaneous Services Form (Form 2.pdf).

·Original Passport (including subsequent additional booklets if any) - Passport will be retained during the tenure of the service.

·Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.

·Photocopy of valid Iqama (Original to be produced for verification).

·One recent passport size photograph (to be affixed on the form).

·Letter requesting the exact nature of certificate requested for.

Endorsement letter for Saudi Police Clearance Certificate (Saudi PCC)
(Time Required : 
TWO Working Days)

·Application in the Miscellaneous Services Form (Form 2.pdf).

Saudi PCC or PCC for stay in Saudi Arabia is issued by Saudi authorities and not by Indian Consulate.  The role of Indian Consulate in the process is limited to issue of an Endorsement/No objection letter to concerned Saudi authorities for issuing the PCC, which is a Saudi Government requirement.  For obtaining this, the requirements are given below:-

·Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.

·Photocopy of valid Iqama (Original to be produced for verification).

·One recent passport size photograph (to be affixed on the form)

*Note : An additional Fee of SR 8 (Saudi Riyal Eight) is levied on each Service as contribution towards the Indian Community Welfare Fund (ICWF). Additional Processing Fee of SR 15 (Saudi Riyal Fifteen) for Miscellaneous Services will be charged by M/s VFS Global. All fees are to be paid in Saudi Riyals in Cash at the VFS Counter along with application. Fees once paid are not refunded, even if the application is withdrawn or the service refused for whatsoever reason.
